William Nylander is getting closer to a return to game action.
The speedy scorer joined his Toronto Maple Leafs teammates for a full morning skate in Seattle on Thursday, but won't play Thursday night against the Kraken.
However, he could return to the lineup Saturday in Vancouver, said coach Craig Berube.
Nylander has been out of the lineup since he injured his groin on Jan. 15. The Seattle game will be his seventh game missed.
Despite the injury, Nylander continues to lead the Maple Leafs in scoring, with 48 points in just 37 games.
The Maple Leafs will visit the Kraken to kick off a four-game West Coast trip Thursday night. You can watch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT.
